Peaceful Harmony

BIOGRAPHY

In the book of Psalms 133:1, you will find “Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” In 1 Peter 3:8, you will find “Finally all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. We chose the Dove as our group symbol, a Christian biblical symbol for the Holy Spirit of God, representing peace within ourselves, among group members and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . Hence, we were inspired with our group theme: Together in Unity with the Gift of Song, and the name “Peaceful Harmony”.

As children of God, we can only offer God one thing that we possess that He does not... OUR PRAISE! The human voice is capable of making wonderful music, and it can make all of Heaven rejoice if we lift our voices together in harmony and praise the God from whom all blessings flow.

Our bible based singing ministry began Jonesboro, Georgia in June 2004, comprised of three members: Anthony Byrd, Johnson Walthall and Laurant Jolly. As a bible based group, we wanted to provide an alternative means for bringing souls to Christ through our Acappella Gospel Music Ministry. We love singing traditional/contemporary hymns and spirituals along with praise and worship.  After singing as a trio for several months, the Lord blessed us with the voices of Stanley Stander, Willie Heath and Horace Green an honorary member, who has been a mainstay over the years. Peaceful Harmony is comprised of military veterans and dependants.

Our Lord and Savior, blessed Brother Byrd with a vision to establish a Non-profit charity under the name of “Peaceful Harmony”, hence “Charities of Peaceful Harmony. Inc” was born to reach out to those less fortunate than ourselves, with words of love, encouragement and compassion for the homeless, elderly, single mothers, children in distressed families and foster children. Over time, we have established "Harmony Productions" events/music production organization and record label "Harmoni Records".

Peaceful Harmony established a Rest Home and Hospital Ministry, our travels in this ministry have taken us to many cities throughout the state of Georgia.

We pray that many souls have been won to Christ through our singing ministry, we believe, if we have touched the life of just “one”, thank You Jesus, our singing has not been in vain. In everything we do, we give God thanks and all the glory, which belongs to him.
